Kubota opens new logistics centre in Thionville

The Japanese company Kubota, specialised in design and manufacture of agricultural machinery, has set up in Eastern France with a new logistics centre in Metzange, Thionville.

An investment of €15M in the region

This new site was inaugurated in the presence of Dai Watanabe, the number 2 of the Japanese giant. It is their 4th site in the world after Japan, Thailand and the United States. With an investment of 15 million euros in Eastern France for the project and the presence of the company’s number 2, the importance of this new site is underlined.

More productivity with shorter delivery times…

…this is the goal of the new site according to Yasukaze Kamada, president of the European holding company. With a surface area of 22,000 m2 and 35,060 pallet spaces, the site ships between 1,500 and 1,600 parcels per day throughout Europe. In addition, the logistics centre has created 90 new jobs in the region. Invest Eastern France team welcomes Kubota in the region.
