Tax exemptions in the Ardennes

ARDENNES : BER zone (economic regeneration program)

The Ardennes benefit from a special tax exemptions scheme for all companies creating activities (or expanding existing activities) in the BER zone (Bassin d’Emploi à Redynamiser), which covers 351 municipalities in the northern and eastern parts of the department. Located on the Amsterdam-Marseille motorway, 2 hours from Lille and Brussels, the Ardennes are a crossroads of international trade and an industrial and logistic hub.

The scheme provides for 100% exemptions over 5 years for:

  • Corporate tax (IS)
  • Property tax and CFE
  • As well as a 5-year exemption on part of the social contributions.

This tax exemptions scheme has now been confirmed until June 30, 2024.
